Nah, you can't install android on it. The operating system is really smooth (like literally smooth; barely any lag, crashes, slow down etc.) but it's not as intuitive as the other two and the store isn't very extensive plus a few other standard things aren't there like a live social media tile etc.
Have you used windows 8 at all? It's not too dissimilar but apparently windows phone 8.1 is on the way early next year which, if it's anything like the main OS, should be pretty good.
I'm thinking of moving over myself, but waiting to see what they do there.
