Haven’t followed the story but I assume it’s the Daily Telegraph and Mail leading the charge? Probably had a draft ready the day Carsley was announced.

It’s the perfect story really - Carsley can’t really engage with it, the knuckle draggers will click out with outrage and the rest will react with outrage at the outrageous story creating a wheel of perpetual outrage for ever and ever.

It is easy and cheap clicks for those papers, likewise how left leaning papers do the same to trigger their viewers. Kind of how Arsenal are picked on social media and the general media because it drives up clicks. It is all about those clicks!

I can't remember how angry I was at the time but now I look at back and literally feel nothing towards him, honestly could not give a shit about the player.
