Is the full stop in the thread title annoying anyone else?

I don't like this move. With AVB in place, at least we had a Chelsea team that predictably lost 1 in 4 games. Now we have no idea how they will react. I suspect Di Matteo will make sure that Drogba, Lampard and Cole are the first names on the team sheet. They could get a new manager bump for at least a few weeks.

Don't blame me, i made that post in General News! .

They should just make John Terry manager and be done with it.

In the long term, Chelsea will continue to struggle but for the next 11 games I think they'll get their shit together and make things happen. Disgraceful that the players practically forced him out of the club.

Di Matteo won't be deciding anything.

Drogba, Lampard and Cole will make sure that Drogba, Lampard and Cole are the first names on the team sheet.

Disgraceful stuff.

I would like to hear those three going over the tactics before a game starts.

Torres and Cahill must be wondering what the fuck they got themselves into

Don't forget Terry either. The main protagonist, no doubt.

According to the press Terry was one of the few who backed AVB

(Most likely bollocks)

Oh right. Didn't know that, but I doubt it's true myself.

He wants to show that he's a good, loyal captain....doubt he did anything of the sort.

Hate to say it but AVB's age definitely went against him as he was dealing with players only a few years apart and I cant see the likes of Cole, Terry, Lampard etc affording him much respect....especially if they dont get picked

I think there may be some truth to it because out of that 4 of Terry, Cole, Drogba and Lamps.

Terry was the only one who was guaranteed a start whenever he was fit, I doubt he gives a monkeys ass about anyone else as long as he is the first name on the team sheet which he was under AVB.

I think they are getting Mourinho again in the summer, therefore they just appoint an interim manager now instead of splashing on someone more reputable again.

I still rate AVB though, would love him to replace Pat Rice

What has poor Pat ever done to you?

AVB is a good manager, not his fault his players are shite.

Feel sorry for AVB. He is a good, young manager. Difficult circumstances to come to Chelsea for him. Short sighted by Abramovich I think.

Isn't he retiring this season?

Well that's them fucked for 4th place then.

It's going to be a right manager merry go round come the Summer

If Wenger and Mourinho both leave their respective clubs and Inter want a new manager...

That would be AVB, Benitez, Wenger, Mourinho, Capello all possibly looking for jobs

With England, France, Chelsea, (possibly us and Madrid), Inter Milan, Spurs if Twitchy leaves, all looking for managers.

😆 Clucking bell, the gossip mongers are going to have a field day.

big time

Drogba lampard terry and cole are old and past it anyway, even if they play they struggle big time. I only hope abramovic continues with this closure on spending as i dont see chelsea being successful again unless they invest as heavily as man city have.
