Disappointing but we were already out before kick off so you have to be proud of that. First half was one of the most unbelievable games I've experienced as an Arsenal fan. At half time I really thought we'd score again and like probably everyone else I was celebrating when Van Persie missed that chance from 2 yards only to look back at the screen and realise the ball somehow didn't go in.

Brilliant again from Rosicky I thought. Absolutely ran the whole show. See Wenger, isn't it funny how players tend to play their best football in their proper positions?

What? :hmm: that's a strange theory...and completely incorrect in every way. We get injured because our squad isn't strong enough and we can't rotate our best players when we need to. That's why.

of course two subs had to be made, but those two are getting paid by arsenal because he believed them to be something other than shit. if you're getting paid like them your manager should be able to call on you and you impact them the game in some positive manner.

Imo of course but every season for the past few years we get injuries and drop in form after march, whilst manu always seem to get better, i think the way the pre season is conditioned we set out how our season usually is.

Apart from one bizarro kick Szczesny was great.
Defence had a few rocky moments but Kos was immense, Vermaelen looked better too.

I think given the players we had out there that was as good as they could give.

I cant get over Van Persie's chip. I would expect that from a young player but not our captain. A tap in wasnt enough for him in that situation. Thats where our chances were killed.

To come from 4-0 down to 4-3 is amazing but we were out of gas with 20 minutes to go, some players looked dead after the 55th minute even.

Theo and Gervinho killed me with their one sided-ness. Gervinho should play on the right and Theo on the left. At least when Theo cuts in for the one millionth time he could do something with his right foot.

We restored our reputation tonight. Shame we couldn't get another goal but Wenger and the players fucked this up in the first leg. Just imagine if Chamberlain had started that one. Or if we had even tried to attack at San Siro.

Hope Alex is alright, by the way. We're going to need him against Newcastle.
