I suspect Robin made the decision not to sign very early on last season, to be fair to him I think he gave pretty much everything he was capable of giving throughout the season.
In that regard his attitude and effort I could not fault.
Having said that, now that a few days have passed since that statement, I think fair enough if he wants to leave, but the way he's gone about engineering his exit is fairly treacherous.
I expected more from him, I genuinely thought he had more decency in him than he's shown.
His personal ambition and ego cannot be accommodated here.
Effectively it seems he believes he's too good to be playing with this current squad.
Apart from anything else as captain he should have had more consideration for how those words would effect the new arrivals, as well as his soon to be former team mates.
