Well remembered. And even 2 games into the season, the manager hoped Nasri would stay while the board wanted to ship him off.
At this stage, I'd be very surprised if van Persie had not made his demands clear.
More importantly, what does happen to van Persie should not affect us signing players in other positions. Why we waited till the last day to sign Mertesacker and Santos, I'll never know. Those two alone could have saved us the humiliation of losing by 6 goals.
