And I still think he'll sign a new contract. Would you think him unambitious if he does that or will that make him a proper legend?

I fancied him to thrive in this more advanced role, as a proper centre forward, when we moved him there a couple of seasons back, but he's the best striker in the world right now - not sure I quite expected that of him.

It is so unfortunate that his only injury free season has come when Cesc has left and our 2nd best player has missed the entire season.

Thinking about it, we had a really good team last season, tough luck that Van Persie and Cesc could manage only 19 games each and Vermaelen missed the season.

The story of Arsenal for a few years now.

Had the best midfielder in the world in fabregas and sold him.

Now we have the best striker in the world.

Wenger can produce magical players it's having them all fit and firing at the same time that's always been the problem. Put fabregas, cole, flamini and nasri in this team and we would be talking about a title challenge right now.

We need to surround robin with world class players in the summer and we need to do it fast

Make signings in june early july. No more waiting till august 29th to make signings.

Or make more signings now with pre contract agreements. tie up poldoski and suarez then move onto midfield and defence.
