The Darren Dein stuff is perplexing. I wonder if, or how long until counter measures (we don't do business with that man? take him as your management/advisor and you're black listed?) are taken. Some were wondering here about the souring of relations with VP and Song, and how logical would AW's moves be, considering replacements (easy or not). To me the healthy relationship between boss and players seems important independently of all of that.
If the boss seems to have turned from fatherly to SAF style in a short time (Fabregas disillusionment?), it could be because he placed such high value on said relationship. That is who he is, and these are the teams he makes (been described by a thousand players over the years). Don't see how he'll tolerate people he can't trust, a cynical approach, etc.
i wonder if DD junior is not actually digging his own grave with that supposedly shrewd way of running his business, and gaining an infamous niche (or glorious - depends from which side you look at it, and whether short term or long term). I'd say what is obvious to us must have been obvious to the boss a while ago (easy, Biggus, I mean on this subject). Friends with DD senior or not, he won't take it for much longer. If Song indeed fucks off to Barca, would be interesting to see who - if any - of our players represented by this man is shown the cold side by the boss.
