It's quite possible that Biggus' post was an ironic one, written due to the fact that Captain posted in a manner which made it seem like his opinion was some kind of allmighty definitive.

I am not a big fan of Ibrahimovic the person. Think he seems to be a massive idiot. Ibrahimovic the footballer is one of the best CFs I have ever seen though.

RVP's last 18 months has pretty much equalled what Ibrahimovic has done. In stats. From actually watching the two players I can without any doubt at all say that Ibrahimovic is better than RVP in almost every aspect of the game, he is far more entertaining to watch IMO as well, and he has no weaknesses at all. The complete package, and that is something RVP will never be.

I'd be over the moon if RVP stayed and we on top of that signed one of Cazorla or Sahin. Reckon we could mount a serious challenge for the PL title then.

Yep, on top of signings of that calibre Van Persie staying, without a new contract, would not be quite the apocalyptic scenario that has been foreseen.

We'd be in serious business with that variety of options at our disposal.
I've got to stop thinking that all those stars will align though, but if they did...

I'd admit to RVP being a super fan if he waits for a Sahin/Cazorla transfer and THEN signs a new deal.
Being succesful in forcing the board/manager to do what we have all been crying out for for ages. 🙂

Am I the only one who believes that van Persie is the best vollyer (probably not a word) in the game right now? It's an ability of his that served us well this season and the one before that.

Anyway, van Persie said he talked with Wenger about the plans for Arsenal and that he wasn't happy with them. If these plans were Sahin and Cazorla, and RvP still isn't satisfied, I don't understand what's going on in his head.
