The most annoying thing is that players have sussed the club out. If you're a good player all you have to do is stall signing on the contract long enough and then refuse to play in pre-season.

No reason to suggest that any of the other players we want to renew won't do the same. And we can't put them on the bench either because they're on huge salaries and we need them on the pitch to finish higher up. On top of everything else, we get cheated out of a reasonable transfer fee.

somehow, the thought of him becoming one of fergie's boys is more gutting. id rather he went to city or juve, even if its for less money. its not like the extra few million makes a difference in the grand scheme.

Dont see United coming in with a higher bid than City. City or Juve couldnt care less, surprised AC Milan havent tabled a bid. Just hope we reinvest the money.

As much as it would be nice to draw a line under this, I can see value in drawing it out for a bit. By all accounts Mancini is desperate for him, so I can see City bidding big if it drags on.
