Joe Hart is fantastic.

Ghana defend like a pub team but they are such good footballers. Very dynamic as well.

Honestly, I think that half from Carroll is the best example you'll see of why you should never judge players purely on the goals they score. He couldn't run (did you really call him "very fast" a while back, Asa?), terrible first touch - moves broke down every time the ball went near him, no intelligent movement or running whatsoever, and then he bangs one in and that's all anyone will remember.

"Liverpool fans will enjoy what they've seen from their man so far" said the ITV commentator - not if they know their football they won't!

That's what he always looks like, "a handful". Bloke is a pub player that made good but at the end of the day, if he scores the 20+ goals that you need to qualify for the champs league/win something, then you don't complain.

Doen't mean you have to rate him or like what you are seeing of course.

I know a lithuanian bloke who has a room in his house full of masks and thinks that they speak to him.

He's also a multi-millionaire. True story.

What do they say?!

Probably whatever he tells them to.

Damn Spain back in front, own goal from Lithuania.

I watched a forward play with everything you love tonight Ricky. You want to talk about intelligent movement, decision making, hold up play, scored a goal, strong and quick. That player was Shane Long. Can't wait to see what he does in the Premiership next season, very high hopes for him.

That boy has looked a player since the first time I saw him play - which was for Reading Reserves against our Reserves. It's puzzled me for a while why he's still in the Championship, but I suppose he's still learning his trade. Will without doubt be a good player though.

Wasn't that the Austrians?

Australia beat Germany 2-1. Turkey beat Austria.

Love watching our NT in recent times.

A few years ago, we used to be a team that sat deep and just hoofed it forward aimlessly whenever we got the ball. Reappointing Tarmo Rüütli as the manager has been a revelation. The players can actually string more than 3 passes together, we've found ourselves a true midfield playmaker in Vassiljev who dictates our play and for the first time since the best years of Super Mart Poom, we suddenly have a very good goalkeeper in Pareiko again.

The current team is like an opposite of Arsenal. Everyone always play their hearts out and work for each other on the pitch when defending, which makes up for individual lack of quality surprisingly well. Our attacking is direct, but aside from the ball over the top, the players are capable of moving the ball around and creating chances through simple combinations and wing play. Familiar with the frustrations of being an Arsenal fan and our inability to pick up the points and wins from the games we should, it's rather refreshing to support a team that are the underdogs in most games but still manage to produce results/put in heroic performances against some of the top teams in the World.

Tonight wasn't the best of performances by Estonia, but despite going 1-0 behind in the first half, the boys gave their all in the second half and fought out a well deserved draw. It was especially nice after some cocky comments by the president of Serbian FA(I think).
