Well, as I unfortunately know, knee grafts are not the most reliable even at the best of times. If the graft fails, he's fucked for the rest of this season minimum.

Wenger's massive gamble would have backfired badly. We basically have no chance of winning the two competitions we really want if Djouorou's out for anything more than a few weeks. Sickening if true.

I dont fancy us to beat anyone with Squillaci at the back. Not even Wolves at home.

Squillaci started the season solidly (not brilliantly) and deteriorated since around November.

He's an experienced guy though, and the optimist in me thinks he can turn it around with a run of games.

I don't know if this has been mentioned and didn't want to start a new thread but Fabregas and RvP have pulled out of their internationals with a stomach big and flu respectively.

I am certain they are alright and this is just to avoid the exertions of meaningless international football at this time of the season.

May be they were pressed by Wenger or just may be they pulled out on their own but this is definitely positive.

Great news, and I wouldn't mind resting him against Wolves, as I doubt they'll be very ambitious going forward.

In all seriousness, something has to be done about the Squillaci/Kos partnership. They aren't poor players so it must be something else; the two need to put in some serious training sessions together or whatever will work.
