Would absolutely love to see Mad Jens get a game again. Imagine the reception!
No matter how good he used to be for us I hope we're not going for an OAP to play in goal for us. Even as cover.

It's not that kind of injury.
Another one bites the dust
Apparently he's out for the season.
Sounds about right. He doesn't do well when he gets injured.
It been confirmed on Arse.com

Fucking ridiculous now our luck.
Right fucking brilliant that is. Let's not forget that's Sagna doing that to him because they're both running around like headless chickens in our area trying to cover Almunia's goal for him.
By the way, I think this Jens rumour is hilarious.
Mainly because I strongly suspect I started it in this thread.
It's not true then?! :hmm: I suppose me believing that it can be says a lot about what I'm expecting to happen.
Jens is being interviewed and being "coy" about it today. At 41 I'd be shocked if he made a return.
The moment I saw Wenger answer the question regarding this I knew it was Jens. It will be him, definitely. As absurd as it sounds.
Well I wouldn't mind. Lehmann is insane but he's not prissy at least. It was depressing watching Al floundering around like a hairy-legged Black Swan on the weekend. Lehmann would just be too slow and would get into conflict with the opposition forwards, I think I could handle that and would prefer it.
A presently spartan BBC article says:
Arsenal's Johan Djourou believes his shoulder injury is not as bad as was first feared and hopes to play again this month, BBC Sport understands.
!
He'd be better than Squillaci and Koscielny combined even if he has the fucking thing amputated.
Patch him up, get him back.
Having watched us at Old Toilet I really don“t think it matters one way or the other to be honest.
Sure it matters Rex, he's been our most important defender this season.
Hope he's right and not just being overly optimistic. Not keen on the idea of him joining up with the Swiss for the International though.
Would you be nearly so quick to write our season off if it was Djourou and Squillaci for the rest of the year?
I certainly wouldn't. Tells you all you need to know, really.
I would change my tune if Djourou's around and Squillaci is nowhere near the team.
