Yes, they are worse than Ipswich and Huddersfield, but we relied on a much stronger team to get past the former, and a last gasp Fabregas penalty AND a strong starting lineup to get us through the latter (albeit with 10 men).

For what it's worth, I think we'll probably win. But I would be far from stunned if we fuck it up.

Have you been watching us this season?

Every time we've played the '2nds' in a cup it's been an uphill struggle, no matter who the opposition are, it's got nothing to do with the Birmingham game.

Fair enough.

But it's more important for the players to be mentally tough because our mental state doesn't really matter. It's hypocritical but unimportant.

Cesc out for a couple of weeks I can take.

It fucking shits me that van Persie is out for quite some time, probably a couple of months at least til he has any chance of being available and near the sort of form he was beforehand.

I can see an Al blunder at OT, already. There is no Fabregas and we've been woefully short of ideas against Stoke, B'ham and Sunderland without him. This match against Barcelona cost us a lot, again.
