Mick McCarthy Sacked
Shame. I liked him
Have to say, even with their current league positon in mind I think it's a big mistake on Wolves' part.
Silly subby time! wrote:Shame. I liked him
still brilliant that
When they beat Man City right? Reason enough right there to like the man.
Shame, but I'm sure he'll find another job.
The England one perhaps. They should make an exception for this foreigner.
What the hell..
I guess this has been coming for the past month or so, sometimes I think players switch off once they know the writing's on the wall for a manager.
Maybe not consciously, but enough to compound whatever problems started the original slide.
Anyway I'm sure Mick won't be waiting around too long for his next job.
I just love that gif , for that alone I would want to see him continue in management.
ridiculous. who do wolves think they are.
Presumably it will be Redknapp for England with McCarthy replacing him at Spurs then won't it?
I did like McCarthy, but i never felt he was able to inspire his team to be anything other than relegation candidates every season in the top flight. He did a fantastic job to get them into the PL and keep them there, but I read somewhere that his net transfer spend was very high and probably unstainable in the future if this is to be their level.
I don't think he'll ever be offered another role in the PL, but can imagine him returning with a promoted Championship team again. I am sure he will be very highly saught after at that level.
He's the Michael Chopra of management. Too good for the Championship, not good enough for the Premiership
