It's a shame Redknapp hasn't had a chance to destroy Spurs from the inside yet.

Most of you English guys want Redknob for England manager I take it? You think he is a better coach than Capello?

no, its just that I hate Tottenham and dont really care about England unless Gooners are involved. I shudder at the thought of having to cheer on Terry, Cole and Rooney

You don´t have to IBL. I´d never support a team with those players in it. I´m not the biggest fan of international football though.

I think Redknob for England is brilliant myself. Unsettle the Scum, and probably won´t make England any better. In the end, the players aren´t good enough regardless of the manager. Don´t particularly rate Twitchy either.

Yep, pretty much why I'd want the illiterate there as England manager, to bring the scum down.

😆 You´d think the whole "I-write-worse-than-a-two-year-old" thing would be somewhat of a negative in any job application...

I just want to see Redknapp get it so he'll eventually be torn apart by all the lads in the press he thinks are his mates.

"I cant read, I cant write, I cant even send a fax and Ive never written a letter, but I'm still qualified to manage a national team."

Maybe if you get Hiddink on a short term contract.

Get Pearce in and we can finally play some proper football. None of this passing malarky.

Pearce is about as horrible as they get when it gets to managing a team. He is absolutely clueless.

He'll win us the euros despite the turmoil we are in

😆 The highlight in his managerial career is an FA Cup with Pompey ffs. He is a donkey. Only in England would anyone rate Redknob as the superior manager to someone like Capello. He at least has the trophies to show for what he has achieved. What does Redknob have?

At least Redknapp would have something to prove. Capello as England manager wasn't really a great idea in the end - he was supposed to curb player egos and failed to do so.

I'm not sure anyone can fix this England setup though, not until there's a bit of generational change anyway.

Capello has the best winning percentage as England manager since after the war at 66,7 percent. Laughable to think that Redknob, who has basically never won anything, would do better.

International winning percentage is largely irrelevant to my mind. Shit performances at the 2010 WC, then finally routed in humiliating fashion by Germany.

And he never even made it to the Euros as manager, because he chose to resign over totally obvious FA stuff regarding Terry's racism.
