Did my panicking when we sold Song right out of the blue, compounded my angst by not signing Sahin.
Now I'm fairly sure that there won't be any earth shattering surprises of the great first choice kind tomorrow (I'd still hold to that view even if we end up signing M'vila, or Afellay on loan).
There may be a couple of handy signings of players who might pop up and be useful at some crucial stage
of the season.
I'm not resigned or down about it, I'll just be glad it's over and that we know what exactly we have at our disposal until Christmas at least.
Really just looking forward to seeing how the team copes and the new players adapt. Looking forward to seeing more than one game a week too, need the drama of watching us actually playing.
We're not in the same league as the Manchesters or Chelsea, that's the reality, got to live with it, doesn't mean that we do not have a chance of winning anything.
Just means that it's going to take a heroic, dogged, tough, unified and singlemninded effort from everyone involved and some slice of luck or touch of genius at the right time.
