You just know that if we gambled on him, his knees would be blown out now and we'd all be crying that we should have signed a proper striker.

😆
The shit that happened to Per this week is just unbelievable. Sagna's injury too. I don't mind the shit where Shawcross breaks a player in half. Just some of the crap I see looks like witchcraft

The scum pushed him when he was off balance. Been hoping all season that someone will break Assou-Ekotto's leg in retaliation.

KD, I could push you a thousand times when you're off balance and nothing would happen to you. That injury seemed to be the work of the wicked.

I would be fucking pissed if you tried to push me while I was slowing down a run outside the field. Only reason to push someone in that situation is because you're a meanspirited cunt.

I don't subscribe to that theory Rex.

I don't subsribe to it either. Good players always play a lot. Our problem is that Robin is the only regular player we have who usually makes a difference. If we signed a few better starters instead we wouldn't rely on van Persie so much and the team wouldn't struggle to score every time he's out.

A player like Sturridge, and I keep saying that because there are others of course, scores both from the flank and through the middle. That´s why that type of player is a bonus.

I don't think he's very good on the flank though. And he doesn't want to play there either. Seems to be half the reason he wants to leave Chelsea.

He scores and he assists from the flank. At Arsenal he would get to play plenty at CF as well.

Bring him here, and stick him in a 4 4 2 with RVP up top, Ox and Gerv on the flanks and Wilshere and Song in the middle.
And don't nobody tell me we'll be overrun in the middle.

Rex: I don't like the idea of someone like him playing centreforward at Arsenal either.

We just have different opinions on how good he is and what he can develop into. No biggie. 🙂

i didnt think much of it but that's just my opinion. it's a NLD and we're not supposed to be nice to each other. it's not like he tried to martin taylor him. just bad luck that sagna got hurt there.

That a push would twist Sagna's ankle and leave him out for half a season? For some reason, I'm not buying that

He pushed him because he could, not because they ran into eachother or because he was trying to protect himself. Who cares what thoughts were running through his head? The push was intentional.

Stop casting aspersions on the integrity of Tottenham players, they're all that we should aspire to.

we all know it's bullshit. these stories come out everytime we're in crisis, it gets old. we know that if we have a clearout this summer and get 90m from player sales that we won't be spending 145m on players. we'll spend 75m if we sell 60m worth of players and act like something was done to improve the situation.

Yep, we've a gross spend of £85m since 2006 so I can imagine Gazidis head exploding before we spend £55m in the one solitary window.

To be fair, this summer is Gazidis'.
