Thing is, even if Diaby is fit for most of next season we'd have to accept that it's almost certainly going to take him a year to find some consistency in his game. He'll have good weeks and bad weeks cos he's just been out for too long to come straight in and find a consistent high/decent level.
Personally, I can accept and understand that, and I'll be patient with him. Not sure the majority of the fan base will be the same though. Can see a lot of people getting frustrated with him and getting on his back the second he starts to struggle. See Ramsey.
