i still think ramsey will come good for us eventually, but i don't see him as a starter next season

We're talking about a 21 year old centre midfielder. One who's shown serious talent at time. He's destined to be a quality player, possibly world class.

Good post Qs. So long as Ramsey's a squad player we don't have a problem with him being a work in progress. We've got other options for his position and he seems the sort of guy who will take a season or two more outside the first XI without kicking up too much.

He will have been given a few choice words after that fiasco on Sunday and you'd expect him to learn from that.

He's not Cesc Fabregas and fortunately we're not relying on him to be that good at his age. We have no midfield problem.

I don't like the idea of Jack as an AM. He offers far too much in defence and metering our game to have that negated by putting him so far forward. Jack should be competing with Arteta and/or Song.

I agree. Get in a quality play maker and let Jack set things off from deep. That said, Wilshere as an AM will be awthome too. Like totally awthome.

The problem there is that, as things look now, we won't be in for a "playmaker" in the summer so unless Ramsey improves or Rosicky keeps it up even next season, Wilshere will play there I think.

Jack is perfect for that role, he has all you need to succed as AM. Cant wait till he is back. Can see a wingers getting alot more joy with Jack in the team. Rosicky on current form is also a brilliant backup.

ive mentioned this before but noone on here seems to agree. iI think he's a bit wasted inan advanced AM role, but it looks like thats where he'll play when he comes back

If Wenger is right about Ox being more suited for the middle, we could be looking at a midfield made up of Song - Wilshere - Ox, which should give us plenty of fight and creativity.

What would be wasted though? his defensive play? I think Arteta has provide just as good defensive stablilty to the team if not better.. I would actually say the opposite, he is the best midfielder we have going forward and his attacking talent would be wasted in a more defensive position.. Jack has the abilty to skip past players & has quality end product.

Thats exactly one of the reasons I want Jack at AM next season. For years we've had to deal with Cesc and Nasri there who didn't bother too much with the defensive aspects of the game. The big games we've won over the last couple of months have been in no small part due to the efforts of the entire midfield to win the ball back. Its probably the biggest benefit of having this rejuvenated Rosicky in the team.

Jack will give us that again and he'll add all of his great attacking traits too. My only worry about Jack at AM is whether he'll be able to bring goals into his game at this level. He did it for the youths and reserves so hopefully he can do it at the top level too.

To me Jack is not an AM, he's somebody that runs the midfield the same job that mikel arteta is doing right know.

I have said this too. It would be great if we can get a specialised playmaker in. I don't like playing Ox in the middle because he offers far too much out on the wings.

I'm another that wants Jack to play central midfield running the show. Dont want him any further forward than he was last season.

Wouldn't want an attacking mid either. Would like 1 dm, 2 cm, but it depends whether we sign a quality attacker, that can attack and do the job imo. If we don't sign a quality wide attackers, then I'd prefer we play with an attacking mid.
