Damn right our sorry lot couldn't knock out both manc clubs, not with the way some of you lot support them. Pool are shit but Anfield was rocking today, could teach us a thing or two about supporting our team and giving them belief.

We will lose to stoke

I don't count that, it's a crock of shit that teams from the champs league go into it.

that maybe so but they can still win it.

But I don't count it. ๐Ÿ˜†

Given the choice, would you rather be in Arsenal's current position or Manchester united's?

manure's because they have a better chance of winning the most important prize than we have of winning any of the 2 cup competitions we're in.

oh and i'd take the europa league over a domestic cup.

for me it's:

1a. league 1b. champions league
3a. europa league 3b. fa cup

  1. carling cup

:o
Europa League over FA Cup?
Don't get that.
Europa League for me is the second rate / losers Cup.

well it's obviously 2nd rate. the fa cup is as well. neither trophy is anything to brag about at the end of the season BY ITSELF. what matters is the league and champions league. everything else is just consolation so that you don't go home empty handed after a failed season.

Entry into the FA Cup isn't limited to teams who're not good enough to make the CL.
All the big teams play in it, which for me means that it's a proper competition as opposed to a contrived competition.

FA Cup is not a 2nd rate trophy. Its a prestigious trophy with a rich history. No need to disrespect it.

FA cup for me is a major trophy. A step down from the CL and winning the Premiership but still a big thing. Iยดd take the FA cup over the Europa League any day of the week.

Then again, being an Arsenal fan, I remember how thrilled I was a year ago when I really thought weยดd win the CC. ๐Ÿ˜†

Exactly.

Sometimes the modern fan baffles me.

No offence- But thats because you're American, you haven't been brought up with the historical and traditional aspects of it, and you're not attracted to the exciting proposition of seeing the mighty brought low.

Hey!! I'm an American and I love the fa cup. That being said I don't get the fascination with route one hoofball or the notion that liverpool is a shit city.

Thats good Kid, you "get it" then.
Americans aren't know for their love of the underdog and the joy of seeing tall poppies chopped down to size.

Interestingly enough the draw for the 5th round takes place before our game so we'll know our next opponents before we even kick a ball.

Thats the way it's always been, it gets funnier if replays have to be completed, it's one of those traditions.

and was it not the very british manure and their british manager that told the fa cup to stick it because the world championship in brazil was more important? the fa cup isn't what it use to be. things change, it's the way of the world.

And he was widely condemned for it.

In what bizarre reality is the Europa league more prestigious than the FA cup? ๐Ÿ˜†
