People are over reacting here. Ramsey has played far too much and needs a rest, the whole team looked jaded after Sundays match. Rosicky came on and did really well but it was obvious that our problem before that wasn't Rambo it was Frimpong and TBH I think its harsh to blame FRimpong for that, he isn't Song. Everything people complained about Song doing last season is what Frimpong doesn't have, everything they wanted Song to be back then is Frimpong, he's a proper defensive mid and needs to have Arteta and Ramsey ahead of him. As it is Arteta is usually deeper than Song and tonight when Arteta did his normal thing and Frimmers did his natural thing it left us with a very defensive shape and no passing options. Ramsey was the only one trying to find the final ball but he was always out numbered and easily closed down.
The switch to bring Rosicky on sorted that problem and to be fair I'm a massive critic of Rosicky but he was out standing in his half hour tonight. Then you add Benny and the whole thing clicked. I do think Ramsey needs and deserves a rest but to suggest he should be dropped completely is short sighted, forgetful and down right stupid to be honest.
Shava was an embarrassment again when he came on and soured for me what people will hail as great Wenger subs. We were still needing a goal at that stage and Chambo would have been a much better choice.
What this game did confirm for me, which is something I've been thinking for a while but wasn't sure of is that Arshavin is now worse than Rosicky.
