Frimpong has been poor and so has Ramsey.
Vermaelen caught out badly a couple of times too.
Arteta is the only one that comes out with some credit from that half.

On second thought I'd leave Coquelin on and move him up in midfield instead. Frimpong has to go though. Get Miquel on and shuffle the defence accordingly. We'd still be weak on the left flank but we're weak on two positions at the moment, and Coquelin will get sent off if he keeps playing right-back.
Positive that at least we have some proper defenders and a proper goalkeeper now. In previous seasons I think we'd have conceded a goal or two in a half like that, whereas today Villa havn't even had a real chance.
Think we'll come out much better in the second half.

HT 1-0 but we've been very poor. We were all over the place at times.
Ramsey and Frimpong were terrible while Arteta was ok. Gervinho and Theo were very quiet so Robin had no service with everyone being shit behind him. Defense has been worrying but we haven't conceded so can't really complain.
We need to wake up in the second half.

Robin has been magical today by the way. What a pass he pinged forward for Walcott around the 25 minute mark.
