That's a worry for sure, especially de Yong.

Will be interesting to see if Man City line up in a 4-4-2 as they did @Chelsea, or if Mancini will opt for 4-2-3-1. I suspect he will revert back to 4-2-3-1 since they lost, which is a shame for us. In their 4-4-2 Silva was somewhat lost on the flank.

If they go De Jong, Barry, Toure as the middle three, I think they will lose the midfield. Zabaleta is also suspect.

Dzeko or Balotelli? I don't know which would be more effective against us.

Mancini will try to exploit our current problem with width in attack as we don't have any fullbacks. Probably try and show Gerv and Theo inside, funnel our shape into a choke point and hit us on the counter. Nothing really that new there I guess. If our midfield can hack it, that'll be our biggest problem, and we'll be cursing The Forehead and TJ for being useless til kingdom come. If we can't retain possession in MF then we'll end up with a 3-man attack like against Barca, which will be equally rough. Kinda need Verms to get dangerous on that left hand side to make some problems for them, which is a lot to ask I think. Otherwise they'll be too comfortable.

Balotelli will play; he seems to have secured the position of their big game striker.

Silva usually plays as the most advanced in a midfield 3 doesn't he?

I can see Barry, Yaya, Silva in the middle, Milner, Aguero, Balotelli up front, with Milner tucking in to provide an extra body when defending.

Starting De Jong and Barry would mean Mancini bottling it somewhat, though he has been conservative against us in the past

Anyone else gets the feeling there's reds in this? them tasting defeat and feeling the heat, Balotelli not self destructing in over a week now (hearing it from Kos? I hope!), Yaya and de jong - facing Song.... almost tempting to throw Diaby in just to see what happens.

I hope Mancini plays Silva on the flank, but as many of you seem to think I too think Silva will play in front of Toure and Barry.

I actually don´t mind if City have more possession than us in this game. Going forward I think our biggest chance will be if we can hit them on the counter, and then it will only help us if they try to play in our half. Defensively we should be able to match them on set pieces, and we need to keep working hard.

I actually think that plays to our advantage if Man City go into the game thinking they are the better team and looking to out play us. And they will.

I feel fairly good about us! This Arsenal team won´t be bullied on the pitch. This Arsenal team has height, power and strength to match City, and in Theo and Gervinho we have pace to hurt them. And we have RVP.

They score a lot from set pieces, so we have to be careful. And I think they can be very dangerous on the counter.

However, they have been leaking goals and actually have two fewer clean sheets than we do so getting a goal shouldn't be impossible.

They ARE strong from set pieces, but we will most likely play TV, Kos, Mertesacker, Djourou, Song and RVP at the same time. I have faith in all of them, and we have been functioning quite well as a unit for a while.

I don´t think City will get that many chances to hit us on the break. They will have a fair share of possession, and we actually haven´t given away too many chances like that lately.
