I'm not overtly fussed about his lack of top, top level technique, especially with a guy like Podolski who'd rather thump it in the back of the net from 20 yards, instead of twinkle-toeing his way into the box, but it's his mentality that worries me. I so hope he's grown up a bit from the sulker he was back at Bayern.
Maybe the opportunity to finally rejoin "the big boys" will make up go up a level, like it did with Arteta.
