They leapfrogged us into third to finally overhaul the ten-point gap we’d lauded over them for so long.
I’ve done my best to avoid them, but the digs are coming through, and another droplet of blood forms on my forehead whenever I read a goading tweet or text message.

Bloody Spurs. I really want them to wallow in misery a little longer. However, it is probably best that they win tomorrow so that Chelsea can start to feel the life draining out of their league campaign, giving us greater assurance of a Champs League place. The problem with a Spurs win though is that they have the easiest run in. Aargh. I guess a draw is best. A Chelsea win is no good

I hope Chelsea win. They have the toughest run-in with the F. A. Cup and Champions League football also left to play. They will be playing twice every week till the end of the season and will drop points. Chelsea may finish 5th this season but they have the money to spend and turn it around next season. Spurs on the other hand don't. Even 3rd place in our hands now. I hope we can continue our form, finish 3rd and Chelsea leapfrog Spurs into 4th. I can't see Newcastle doing it.

I don't want Chelsea finishing in the top 4. This nouveau riche club's fans are almost as incorrigible as United's. You can't have a conversation with them without hearing some nonsense about how Arsenal need to spend 100s of millions on players as though we have that type of capital and flexibility. It would be a big statement to see this club with the billion dollars in transfer spending fail to make the Champions League. A 5th place finish might also send them closer to being Platini's FFP poster child. I would absolutely love it.
