Has to be said, Chamakh has been bright so far. We're showing great strength to beat them to the ball and beat them in the 50/50's but all our midfielders seem to be going all out attack or are too advanced. Someone needs to stick back or they'll cause problems.

Gotta run to work, but I'm impressed with what I've seen thus far. Kos, Coq, and Chamakh (!!!) have all looked good so far.

I haven't been impressed by Chamakh. He's held the ball up well, but lacks anything else that suggests he's a striker. We need more of a goal threat

Good half from our guys. Only a couple of super saves from their keeper denying us a goal or two. The save he made from Park´s close range shot was quite amazing really.

No spark whatsoever. Most centrebacks would give a performance like he has if asked to play there

Good half so far. We seem to be attacking in waves while they respond in their attacking waves. It's pretty much 55/45 and very close but we definitely can win this. Frimpong, Coquelin and Ox have been great. Kos is outstanding. Djourou is good. Squillaci is ok. Miquel started bad but got much better as the half went. Park has been pretty poor. Chamakh has been ok. Benayoun has been ok.

Overall a pretty even half in which we pretty much shut them out. They have the talent to screw us over though so we gotta keep playing like this.

Well Coq, Ox, Kos, Chamakh, DJ all are doing well. Coquelin shows intelligence, calmness and good awareness.
The stadium crowd sounds pretty good.
Anyone know what the chant was towards the end of the Gary Speed minute?

I like what I've seen from us so far but Fabianski is still making me uneasy.

Very true. Our left side is pretty much dead. Right and center have been our only hope of scoring

Kos, Coq and OxCham been the brightest lights in a fairly good performance so far. Miquel is shaky at lb, but I wouldn't expect any different.

Thought most of the team did well except the forwards and to be fair to Park he's giving it a go. With a better partner he might have made something happen.

Centre midfielders have done brilliantly for us and Ox looks like he could do something every time he gets the ball.

Good first half but I'm concerned about Miquels lack of pace and now they have Aguero on their front line is very, very strong.
