Strange one as Sagna is just back and the obvious choice would be a left back target. If it's the guy I think it is he played centrally against Tottenham and had a good game.

I haven't seen this guy play since he was 18, but my abiding memory of him is a game at Vicarage Road when Rosicky absolutely crucified him for pace. So I wouldn't have thought he was a fullback for us, unless he has developed a load of pace out of nowhere.

Deep down inside we all really knew there wouldn´t be a real signing this window.

I have to say that it is a bit funny though that we are now linked to two players that no one has ever heard of. We used to covet a "name" signing. Now, most of us would settle for a player whose name we have at least heard before. Ibusuki? Eisfeld? 😆
