We have money and a lot of other clubs are struggling. One would think it would be a good time for us to make a move for a couple of decent players.

Market seems to have dried up.

Looking at Shaqiri as an example, it seems that Basle entertained Galatasary's interest in order to entice bigger bids but they weren't forthcoming. The Reus deal as well with him agreeing but not moving until summer seems to signal the intent of clubs around europe (that is, consolidate until the summer at least).

A lot of clubs need to sell to be able to buy it seems. Both from a financial point of view and a squad size point of view. Makes things a bit difficult.

Even more annoying when you consider we lost two top players and didn't see fit to replace them.

Gah, yeah.

Most of the top clubs seem remarkably reluctant to enter the market this window. I wonder if there's some sort of economist's disease afflicting football decision makers - something to do with the Eurozone crisis. Perhaps they think that they'll be able to get players on the cheap in the near future or similar.

The more and more they speak it seems like a dictatorship, where no one wants them in charge yet he refuses to go and constantly makes excuses.

If that was the case camerons a dictator. A dictator is someone who has total control of the club with no one able to question them. Which wenger isnt as if enough pressure was applied i could see him leaving.
