He's amazing. Impossible to predict.

Actually. Yes. Busquets is the best defensive mid in the game today.

My world eleven:-

Who the hell is Silva? And who does Neuer play for?

I'm surprised you have Verminator and Koscielny in there. Surely Kompany and Vidic (and other CBs in Europe) should get a mention.

I do love our CBs of course.

I've got me gooner glasses on.

Thiago silva and German keeper who plays for bayern

Oh and it's Thursday

Forget Vidic this season, can't put a bloke in that's been out for the year.

But as a defender over the last few years he's one of the very best.

Revisiting this thread a day later and it seems even more rediculous to me that Iniesta could be questioned in any way, shape or form. He's not had a great season, but over the last 4-5 years he's easily been the best midfielder in the world along with Xavi.

I have no idea why his 'stats' are being compared to wingers, forwards and number 10's. Bloke plays central or left midfield midfield (not left forward!).

Dula I dunno how you can put our CBs in there and omit RVP.

No chance of an upset tonight is there? Should be fairly comfortable for Barcelona.

Wonder if Cesc will be picked tonight.

Milan have too many injuries to realistically cope with Barca but I have a feeling that it's going to be tighter than a lot of people expect. Ibrahimovic might pull something out of his hat. I think Guardiola will play a three-man defensive line again with Pique, Mascherano and Puyol. It's extremely functional on one hand but only one of those players is a great defender nowadays and none of them are particularly quick. Milan should have Pato back in the squad. He could be a dangerous sub late in the game when Barca are getting tired.

Think Barcelona will tonk them.

Yep 3-0 Barca. Milan will miss a few glorious chances in the first half hour then be grinded down by passpasspasspasspasspass and eventually played around like putty.

I too feel it in my waters - that Barca will romp to victory. They rested guys on the weekend. They'll be ready to hypnotize Milan with their seemingly innocuous midfield passing, and then mighty midget will pop and score 3 lobs to put the tie to bed.

Milan are 9/1 if anyone is interested.

That seems quite generous, but it is 'to win on the night in 90 mins' which I don't think many people would touch. Interestingly, the odds cut to 3/1 for Milan to qualify...which isn't too generous.

I'm waiting on the team news line-up and I might take a punt at a scoreline+FGS. Perhaps 3-1 Barca, Sanchez FGS at 28-1.

Barcelona: Valdes, Dani Alves, Pique, Mascherano, Puyol, Xavi, Busquets, Iniesta, Messi, Fabregas, Cuenca.
Subs: Pinto, Sanchez, Thiago, Keita, Pedro, Adriano, Tello.

AC Milan: Abbiati, Abate, Nesta, Mexes, Antonini, Nocerino, Ambrosini, Seedorf, Boateng, Robinho, Ibrahimovic.
Subs: Amelia, Alexandre Pato, Aquilani, Maxi Lopez, Bonera, Emanuelson, Yepes.

Good thing I waited before placing the bet. Will change to Fabregas FGS.

I like Cuenca, seems like another fantastic talent.

That including extra time? I feel tempted. I think they'll go for 0-0 and try to catch Barca on the break. It's unlikely to succeed to be fair but Milan are set up to play well without possession.

should be 90mins only. It's massive for good reason but at that price it almost demands a few quid.
