I don't mind the 4141 as per Heynckes' Bayern,
but I loathe the Gaurdiola version and AW is Guardiola-lite.
I think De Boer's Ajax may be similar but also somewhere in between in that there may be more horses for courses, whilst AW likes to use AM types and numbers to compensate for real capability in roles/positions.
I like the inverted midfield shape as it improves passing options on the ball, but it can become isolated. I'd want Gustavo signed as the DM so that Ozil can play the playmaker role from CM next to Rambo, and I'd play Campbell and Walcott on the flanks and Sanchez with a free role through the middle.
