I might engage in some betting this weekend.
I think I might do the exact opposite to what that fool Tony Cascarino recommends on his weekly Friday bet recommendation.
That's probably like backing a horse because you like the name though isn't it?

Whatever you do, don't bet on Arsenal.

AC Milan, Udinese and Lazio look like a very good treble in Serie A. Gonna have a closer look tomorrow, but bar any serious injuries or suspensions they should all win comfortably.

Y va do what I do and bet on spurs nd united to win. If they do you're euros in, if they don't you're happy the bastards dropped points

More a trait isn't it?

Maybe.

I guess gambling is my favourite vice then (in the simplest sense).

If I go the opposite of the Cascarino bet Fulham have to beat Spurs, QPR beat City and Coventry beat Southampton.
May as well just burn the money 🙂

Watch Liverpool draw against Swansea tomorrow.

Damn, you're so a person after my own heart.

Had a proper look at Serie A now. The odds weren't great for Milan and Lazio so I'll skip them. Found a couple of other worthwhile games though.

Chievo – Fiorentina X (3.10) - Both teams have good defences and Chievo are strong at home while Fiorentina are slightly better. It usually means a draw in Italy. Under 2.5 goals is another good bet, but it pays significantly less.

Newcastle - Everton 1
Lorient - Ajaccio 1
Marseille - Nice - 1
(4.57)

Was very impressed with both Newcastle and Marseille this week. Lorient are always strong at home too and Ajaccio are the worst team in Ligue 1. I might put a few quid on Joel Campbell to grab a goal too. There will be a lot of opportunities to do so in this game.

Hoffenheim, Nürnberg, Udinese and Milan are other good home bets. Might put them all into a big system and give it a tenner.

I'm taking your advice Klaus, don't let me down.

I am going to jump on the Klaus bandwagon as well. Better have this down Klausie!

😆
Klaus you make it sound like an exact science, I'm tempted too.
I think Everton might take points off Newcastle though.

Chelsea with decent odds away playing a Blackburn side that has 4 losses at home in their last 6.

And draw they did. Made me feel better for the awful Hoffenheim and Nürnberg advice. Bundesliga is so unpredictable this year. Premier League and Serie A are the other way around.

The treble is looking good so far. I put Arsenal on there too for good measure, so 2/4 so far. Expect Marseille and Lorient to deliver tomorrow.

Liverpool are a useless bunch of tossers. Would have been on for a 95 quid pay out if they had beat shitty Swansea.

You should have bet on the draw. 😉

Liverpool's problem is that they don't have any midfield. It's going to cost them. I had them up for a 6th place this season but I'm not sure they'll make it anymore. Newcastle look like a much better team at the moment and they're bound to sign an attacker or two in January.

Exactly. I had the other 7 matches correct in my 8 multiples which had odds of 91.6. Bloody Pool have to spoil it

A real fluke goal by Rigano screwed my single. The treble (or in my case, quadruple) was successful though. Made a few quid on Di Natale too.

Took you up on Lorient and Marseille and made a nice little profit. Cheers Klaus!
