Good, because that Milan game is a draw waiting to happen. They have El Sharaawy, Montolivo, Pazzini and Kaka on the injury list and Balotelli is suspended for being Balotelli.

Wonderful, completely forgot about the Balo suspension, and didn't know about the injuries.

2.2 for United at home (Betfair) seems stupidly high to me, wonder how long it's been since they had above evens against a non-CL side at Old Trafford.

Wouldn't have bet on Milan btw - an average team, away from home without Balotelli, not certain at all. Not that I know anything about Bologna. Edit: Basically what Klaus said!

Think the united game is too unpredictable to bet on, and RVP probably won't start.

Yeah, I dun goofed on Milan 🙁

The odds are pretty good on Lazio against Catania. I'd wait a bit and see if Klose makes the game, but this is a good opportunity for them to climb in the table. Udinese have already played their game and Livorno face Cagliari at home. I think that one will end in a draw. Tempted to put a few quid on it.

1-1 at half time. 🙂

Juve one goal down too. I can feel Armor sweating all the way from here.

Bets placed on:

Granada vs Valencia @ 2.5

Bologna vs Milan @ 1.9

Anything interesting for tonight?

Valencia 1-0 win, 90th minute goal 😃

Milan currently at 1-1, 30mins left to play!

Bologna leading with 3-1 in the 67th minute. A certain irish fella is tearing his hair out right now.

Fuck you Milan. Bunch of utter cunts.

Armor must be thrilled with Juve's comeback!

Never, ever bet on Italian teams away from home.

Taking note of this

Could be a useful tattoo to have on my forearm.

3-3 in the 90th minute. Abate of all people saved you.

Did anyone else get in on this? It just paid for about 1/4 of my new iPad.

I was going to go for Lazio, but my bookie was only giving odds of 1.5, not worth it while hedging for a draw as well.

I've become very conservative recently, don't follow football as much as I used to though, kind of have to be.

Serie A is pretty worthwhile to keep track of if you're interested in betting. There are usually a few more draws than in Premier League due to the tactical nature of the league. Some hesitate to bet on an X but it's a result just like any other, and it pays a lot more than a win. Good teams who are struggling a little with their form and are playing away from home usually have to settle for a point against lesser opponents, like Milan today.

I've definitely been more interested in betting this season, I have less money this year and I'm hoping it will pay for my cigarettes. I've doubled my money in 5 days with very conservative bets(50€ to 100€), so things are going well so far 🙂

I'll follow Serie A a bit more, draws do have much higher odds!

Thinking of these bets for today:

Huddersfield vs Blackpool @2.85 (1.93)

Augsburg vs Borussia M'gladbach @ 2.8 (1.9)

Valladolid vs Malaga @ 2.4 (1.62)

All teams are away, so I'll hedge for a draw, odds displayed in brackets have been adjusted for this.

Thoughts?

Blackpool looks to be an excellent bet, Malaga is fairly good, not too sure on Borussia M'gladbach.

Never bet on something you know nothing about. May as well buy a lottery ticket.

Of course, but I've looked at recent form, league position, previous head to head encounters, injuries + suspensions (don't want a repeat of the Milan game), looked at fan forums, read media previews of the games, etc.

Anyway, I've placed a bet on Blackpool, Vaughan is in great goalscoring form at the moment and Huddersfield (apparently) aren't particularly good. I've doubled my money so far this season and haven't lost a bet, so I can afford to take a hit if they lose.

I hope you realised Vaughan plays for Huddersfield! (and scored)

Too early to care. Unless someone opens up a lead ahead on them i'm not gonna worry until the 20 or 25 game mark

Draw, good thing I hedged, think I made a 0.03€ profit!
