Kevin Gameiro to end up top scorer in Ligue 1 is another great season bet, by the way. Scored 24 goals with practically no help at Lorient last year. This year he's the spearhead of a big-spending PSG side.

Odds are great for Valencia tonight. 2.80 at home against Chelsea. They have to win this game too, after fucking up against Genk in the first round. I think they can match almost anyone at Mestalla. They were terrific against Barcelona last week. Mathieu in particular who dominated down the left flank all game.

No they weren't. Chelsea should have had 3 or 4 easily. Valencia's keeper, Diego Alves I think, made some truly spectacular saves.

Romania and Latvia look like free money. I'm getting in on Serbia-Italia too. It's probably the best draw of the round. Unibet gives me 3.2 which is way too good to turn down. The rest I'm not so sure about though. I'm tempted to try my luck on Wales at home against Switzerland. I think they're very underrated and the odds are absurdly high. Might be worth a tenner depending on the lineup. I want to bet on England because the odds are great relative to the opposition, but I don't trust them. How do you English lads feel about that game?
