Dissapointing window overall but Park Chu-Young, Per Mertesacker, Yossi Benayoun, Andre Santos, Mikel Arteta - all In 48 hours is pretty good. Set up nicely for 4th, and if some of the young ones step up who knows maybe a trophy.

I think with these additions we can see off Liverpool for 4th, which is the minimum requirement.

If things aren't going to plan by January we should still have close to £20Million to bring someone else in.

I haven't been back in that thread since, was scared to look!

I'm happy - worried about how long these players might take to gel, disappointed we didn't get a Götze or a Hazard, and very angry it took so long, but we've just signed 5 experienced players of reasonable quality who can take the pressure off our talented youngsters.

Not in dreamland, but we've definitely pulled it out of the fire and signed the right types of players in the right positions.

We have handled this window poorly overall. It should have never come to such panic buying. There are deals we have done in the past 48 hours we could have concluded way back in July and with a number of those players we would have never lost 8-2 at Ot and may have gained more points than we have.

Wenger alone can't be held accountable for this, it is the entire setup. Wenger wanted Nasri here and said the situtaion was political and i am sure he wanted some foreign imports but we were never going to spend £20 million on one player. I am coming around the idea that this whole philosophy comes down from the man who has been silent throughout apart from one recorded message.

That said, we have added experience and dare i say quality which if utilized well will help us compete with the top teams.

Need a few days to let this sink in.
So relieved that we got Arteta that I'm not overly concerned about Benayoun.
Seems Arsene went to address the maturity, strength and experience issues later on in the window after he'd settled the plans for the future with his earlier signings.

Think he's done enough to stop the slide and stabilize the squad.
Hope the signings lift all of the players, sure that they could do with it too.

Of the recent signings they'll have to be pleased and impressed with Per, Santos and Arteta.

No not really. We won't finish forth with this current team. Quality is not there. We look like another Tottenham, mabe even worse than them.
