The club owes us a signing like this after this summer. If we leave £50M+ sitting in the bank and scrap it out for 4th this season then we're a disgrace.

If Honigstein is right, and this is a big pr thing, we need to sack the pr department. Imagine people getting their hopes up for Götze and then waking up thursday with Benayoun smiling on Arsenal.com. We'd be in tears, and I even like Benayoun.

It'd be like seeing a spherical package under the tree before Christmas, and asking your mum if it's a football, and she replying -maybe, in a coy, french way.

And then Christmas eve it's a bloody bowling ball.

Is he available though? The reports are citing figures of 35 million euros! I can barely see Arsenal paying even half that.

I can't believe we haven't signed Hazard this summer to be honest. It's nothing short of a disgrace having lost Nasri and Cesc.

My feeling has always been that he isn't but my brother in law, who is a season ticket holder at dortmund, says that everyone there is available for the right price and anyone could sign Goetze for £20-25m (and that they would be getting robbed, but that's another matter).

Personally, I don't see him wanting to leave even if a bid were accepted and the manager isn't going to force him out.
