We already have super, super quality, so I suppose we are still looking for super, super, super quality.
Mario Götze
We won't pay Dortmund the transfer fee they'll want and I doubt we'd give Goetze the wages he'll be offered elsewhere. This one's dead in the water, methinks.
Not a chance in hell this will happen unfortunately.
To be honest, right now this would feel like a lateral step for Goetze, apart from the obvious Bundesliga to Premier League pay rise. If I was the boy, I'd hold out for a move to a club with more ambition or ability. I think if United or Bayern come sniffing, he'd probably take those options ahead of us.
besides all that, dortmund won't sell in january. it'd be like united selling us nani, or us selling walcott to liverpool in january.

Pains me to say it but I think you’re spot on there
I could see him coming as a Rosicky replacement but no longer.
We could still go for him if Theo doesnt renew his contract.. long shot though.
I really hope theo goes

thats why we brought thomas eisfield
What's the latest on him?
eisfeld? or gotze?
God. Bet on Arsenal to get the injury prone, less talented young attacking midfielder from Dortmund. Don´t even want to think about it.
Wow, I'm really glad we bumped this thread.
What is the point in Thomas Eisfeld? Has he even played for the reserves yet? What is he?
He's a young player that's just joined the club. Stop getting your knickers in a twist.

Not the place for this. Transfer rumours only please.
Extended his contract to 2016
No surprise. Probably the wisest move he can make at this stage of his career

Good for him. Get another two seasons or so under his belt and he'll be a star.
Bad for us though. If we were ever going to get him it would be now. In a few years he'll be to big a name for us.
