Surely a done deal now, english press should be covering it within hours

imo we've sped up his departure by several years by not winning anything and not strengthening the squad properly

wenger should take a hard look at himself, because this cements the last six years as a total failure

A look at himself? The tosser needs to step down before he does any more damage to the club.

Fuck the pair of them.

Jumping the gun a bit are we?

Wow, did not see this coming.

Good luck in Spain Fabregas.

Thanks for the memories and I hope this means FC Barcelona will never darken our doorstep again

We should've packaged all the other Barca youth players with him. Has he even said a thing to the fans of the club he captained for the last two years?

Fairly epic about-face - Balague and El Mundo now saying no deal has been done.

Close the thread perhaps?

David Hytner has the latest on Fabregas.

You can almost feel the excitement. And that's just among London football writers, who have had more reason that most to curse Cesc Fabregas and Barcelona in recent times. The Arsenal captain is finally getting his transfer back home. It'll cost £35m and it will (please God) stop the thrice-daily 'What's the latest on Cesc?' demands. But, heavy sigh, it's not yet official and there is no truth to the rumour that he will be officially unveiled in Barcelona tomorrow.

What a complete tit. It's people like Hytner who have been responsible for all of the shit-stirring over the years. The bloody cunt should take a good long look in the mirror before he starts complaining.

"It appears that the Arsenal squad numbers page has been taken down from the Arsenal website, perhaps there is some imminent news," writes Brett Stirling

well before this thread is closed let me say my fairwell anyway because i won't be bothered when it really happens.

i wish you nothing but the worse, hopefully you watch barca win a lot of domestic trophies from the stands on crutches as you try to rehab your latest major injury.

i too would like to wish him the worst of luck - horse mouthed greasy rat

That's unnecessary, Meatwad. Nobody should ever wish injury on a player other than Xavi.

A-fucking-men

why? he's on the same level as xavi, busquets, pique, etc. all worthless cunts and i have the same hopes and dreams for them.

and i hope this is the end of his protection of his precious little cunts. they need to be put on blast publicly when they constantly fuck up. no sense sparing feelings because they don't give a shit about him or the club and show it at the first opportunity to jump ship like the rats that they are. sad thing is none of those remaining are going to be upset about cesc and nasri leaving because they wish it was them.

but that's probably too much to ask because he's still protecting them even when they are telling him how useless he is to his face. he just can't help it. so cesc and nasri are professional huh? if they are professional then anelka was just a misunderstood kid who really wasn't responsible for his actions.

30 million lol, thats cheaper than Andy Carroll ffs. I cant believe we've agreed to sell him at that price in this current market.

First of all he isn't sold yet, and secondly we don't have a clue what we are willing to accept. I am not going to call Cesc names if he goes, but instead wish him good luck. Ultimately it is Wenger's fault we are losing him now. Had he put enough quality players around Cesc we would once again be a club winning trophies. So many of us as fans don't believe we will win again under Wenger, so why should he?

i really don't care about this anymore. go, stay, whatever.
