I want City to win the title so we can have a good laugh at all the Man Utd fans bleating about how it was "bought". 😃

I don't think there are many if any other players in the PL capable of creating and finishing chances the way he does.

He missed some absolute sitters against Bolton.

Dzeko on the other hand has been finishing every chance and a few half chances, while Silva has been a far bigger creative force.

I think some (including myself initially) are getting carried away by a 20min cameo against tired, deflated lower league opposition in an adrenaline feuled debut.

Anyone, even the greatest can miss a sitter.
Not everyone, in fact very few, are capable of creating and scoring as Aguero did in the game against Swansea.

He also scored a great goal against Spurs when he dodged pass Dawson and from a difficult angle lifted the ball over Friedel.

The question was what player has most impressed so far and, irrespective of the opposition, those moments of inspiration from Aguero have stood out for me.

If it's not us winning it, I want City to win it. As you say, it'll hack off United fans no end. You never know, if the grumbles get loud enough it may even help bring about ffp sooner which in theory should help us.

The other nice thing about City is that they attract or keep super quality players in the Premier League. Barca and Madrid won't be bothering them anytime soon.

Even better than his goal was the one he reached in the air to pull back for Dzeko.

I'd laugh for days if he pulls a stunt like that and scores against United.

Most of the greats aren't averse to the odd spot of cheating.
Not saying I approve 🙂 but in some contexts I find it very funny.

Aguero is just special. He's like Zola on roids

Reminds me stylistically of Romario, awesome lower body strength and explosiveness

The assist I'm talking about Y va against Swansea was legal and brilliantly athletic.

Was it the one that he hooked the ball back over his shoulder after it had almost gone out of play (he'd just lobbed it past the Swansea keeper)?
The "reaching in the air" part confused me Biggus - I thought you were talking about the Spurs game.

That was to silva but yep top play

Okay Dules my mistake.

12 days later

Utd look very powerful. Gonna take a lot for anyone to stop them this season.

No, it was Aguero.

Adebayor was brilliant for Spurs today, held the ball up well, had excellent movement and was very efficent with the ball, he's basically everything Chamakh is not. Adebayor gets loads of stick on this forum and but we still miss a player of his quality. And we def should of signed Scott Parker as well, two very good signings by Arry.

Did you just copy-paste that post from somewhere else?

Ade will fade, and turn into a cunt in the dressing room slowly but surely.

great goal by torres today, and missed an absolute sitter later. kinda feel for the guy, he probably thought he was out of the shit but not he's right back in it. crazy match, the scoreline could easily have been completely different.
