Forgetting the crazy analogies (lucky AntG is permanently lodged at A-M Biggsy) I won't be congratulating Wenger on YAFP no matter that it'll probably be a harder task this season than it has been in the past. As you know I'd like Wenger to leave his position as soon as possible, but never at the expense of our place at Europe's top table.

I won't knock the Campbell signing but maybe not quite Agueroesque just yet.

Seriously though that's what we should be aiming for.
Spend all the Cesc fee on one player who can bring what Aguero brings.

We need that kind of buzz and excitement around our team.
It's been so long since we've seen anything like that you almost forget what it's like.

I believe Arshavin's arrival was the last time we had that feeling, and we had to go through the whole painful saga of signing him....feels so long ago

Also Reyes and his first full game against Chelsea was amazing, scored a cracking second.

I'm an advocate of 'strengthening' with the Cesc money and splashing the rest that we can raise in a crazy way.

On man City: It was only Swansea at home in the first game of the season.

Mancini will fudge the bigger games and they are still lacking one particular player for my money.
