At home Stoke have won three, drawn two and lost two, so not too bad.
One of the losses was to Newcastle, the other to QPR, hmm.
United and Chelsea only drew with them...maybe a draw is more realistic.
Nope, still going for them to win🙂
Can't bear Stoke either naturally but I'm prepared to put that aside for 90 mins.

No I just think there's no chance they'll not win. Also have you noticed how none of their key players have picked up injuries, and that will 100% remain that way for the rest of the season. You can bank on it

I'd be over the moon if that happened. It would be a great way for the club to cement the new found optimism and togetherness so that we can all forget the last few years and just look forward with excitement and anticipation.

Next summer won't come quick enough as regards getting rid of that crew but I can't see a culling of that magnitude happening in January.

So lucky that we have a few versatile CBs, namely Kos, Verm and Djourou (even if he is a bit pants). It's easy to forget how much of an outlet Sagna, Gibbs, Jenkins and Santos were. Our makeshift FBs today didnt quite offer that same threat but at least defensively they were sound.

It's weird for us to be in a position, where in terms of numbers, we're pretty set in defense.

But we need attackers for the front three.

We have a fantastic base to build upon.

In Szczensy, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Sagna and Song we have arguably the best players in the league in their position, as good as anyone i reckon.

RVP again is as good a striker as there is in the league.

We have a great spine now. I don't feel uncomfortable anymore towards the end of the game when we are a goal up and conceed a corner or a free kick or when a ball is launched in the air. We are far more solid than we have been in a long time, there is a composure which obviously has come with confidence.

We have Jack to come back and if we can add quality around these guys, we will have as rounded a team as we have ever had with some fantastic quality.

We're still a little short at fullback. Could do with a utility defender in the squad.

Rohit is right about spine. Largely looks good. In our team now, one player who could improve upon one of Ramsey, Walcott or Gervinho would be great. This man would have the ability to consistently make/score his own shot and create for others.

Get gotze and podolski and secure top four and hope for some luck in the champs league
