You do remember how that game panned out right? Koscielny walking off injured, Frimpong and Miquel playing, the drama of Nasri starting despite wanting out. They were god awful as well and I still felt we could have won the game. Looking back, that defeat and the Blackburn defeat would have been avoided if we weren't left high and dry by Wenger and the stupidity of Song and Gervinho.
I'm not the slightest bit bothered by Liverpool, they weren't anything special against Chelsea, given that Chelsea have been utterly hopeless for weeks now. I didn't watch them play against City, so I won't comment but Downing, Carroll, Henderson, Adams have all been average to poor so far. They're more of a one man team than we are and I genuinely would be gutted to finish below Liverpool.
I do agree that the odds of us finishing fourth aren't in our favour but Spurs are the biggest threat to finishing in the top four, followed by Chelsea and then Newcastle. On the plus side I think all teams will slip up, we just need to make sure we slip up less than they do.
