I just appreciate him as a musician. There are so many songs by U2 that are absolutely amazing. Let that be his and the band´s legacy.

As for U2, I was a big fan as a kid but as time goes by, their earliest material is the only stuff that really stands up to scrutiny, and Bono is indisputably a champion tosser.

Used to watch 'em for 50p in the Baggot & Dandelion market back in the day.

Of course a pint costed the same so it was a tough decision sometimes.......

From many of his recent comments it seems to me that Arsene has himself become less gung ho in his approach.
There's an element of caution in what he says, and maybe even fear that the confidence that we're slowly building will be undone.
He needed to put his trust in experience instead of youth and so far it's working.
Need Spurs to start dropping points though, unfortunately that's not within our control.
Is VDV really injured or was that a con to get out of the German game?

Read he'll be fit for their game against Villa, so he should be fine, the little rat.

Dont worry about spurs - we'll beat them at the emirates then chelsea will take points off them. I think we may well both end up in the top 4.

Fancy us to finish above both chelsea and liverpool who both seem to have more problems and less to look forward to than us.

You would have to think Tottenham have the least scope for making a big 'difference making' signing in January. Doubt there will be many points separating the top 4-5 teams (excluding City) after the christmas gauntlet and January spending will have a big say this season. Also worth remembering that Liverpool have a big domestic advantage due to their lack of European involvement.

I can see Chelsea being dragged into the race for 4th place which would be bad news because you can always count on Tottenham to bottle it but Chelsea seem to deliver when it matters.

I don't get the logic. If we play well enough to get an advantage over the other teams looking for 4th place then we still have that advantage if Chelsea drop off further from the top. And if we don't then it won't matter anyway.

March 2010? I think I remember reading somewhere a few weeks ago that our 4 wins in a row was the first time we'd done it for 2 years. Would have thought 5 would have been even longer, no?

I'm actually hoping for a Liverpool win. And, of course, a Tottenham loss. Neither seem to be likely but lets see!

You're right, it was mentioned that it was two years since we'd won four PL games in a row.
That Opta Jo needs a talking to, he's responsible for the March 2010 stat!
