Another issue they may have been trying to mitigate with Wilderâs weight gain was the effect of Furyâs size or weight. He puts that 280 lbs on you every chance he gets and it sucks the energy out of you trying to fight or hold him off.
What do you mean âany man who goes to sleep can get knocked outâ? Wilder is a knock out artist - thatâs literally all he does. Like you say he has serious power. And Fury ate it in the previous (first) fight, took a 9 count and stood back up. Twice. And he ate it again yesterday. Twice. Before Wilder gassed out. And got back up. Others before him havenât managed it - Tyson Fury is no glass jaw is what Iâm saying.
I agree somewhat with the stamina bit, but itâs one of those natural attributes like a strong chin, and hard hands. Some folks just have it. And some donât. Fury does. Wilder doesnât. And Wilder isnât a great boxer, so he was never going to win in a boxing match. His best bet was to try to take Fury out early. That was obviously the strategy and once the fight got past midway it was only ever going to end in a Fury victory.
Want to see an Usyk fight as well. Hope it doesnât take too long to put together.
