Yeah, but he's not yet been anything close to something worth labeling as a cunt. And on a personal level I would never sing that, not even to Cashley, Adebayor or anyone who possibly deserved it. It's just moronic and simple. But I realize it's in some people's culture to scream abuse at the players.

One I did find amusing was the one that went "You've got to file, file, file, file, file for divorce..." to the tune of "fight for this love" at Ashley Cole. That was good banter, and I might have joined in on that.

True, the poorer and less educated the fans are, the better the atmosphere is. Just a fact of life, I'm afraid. We've got a largely middle class fan group, and so we'll never see the same noise level as the clubs up north.

The question is whether his Facebook account is real. Apparently he has posted pictures of his family on there that show it's real, but I can't access it to see for myself.

The most relevant point is that he has clearly stated that he's leaving (if it is indeed his account).

Why can't they just wrap this one up quickly before it gets even uglier?

Not doing anyone any good having him here anymore.

Though I suppose for the time being it spares another player becoming hate figure number one.
