I don't think Ferguson trusts their strikers.
Bloke's bigging up his players before an international tournament in their own backyard. Nothing more, nothing less.
If Lewandowski moves to Utd, we should change league.
Welbeck can be every bit as good as Lewandowski. Might already be on par at the moment. Don't see this happening.
Modric being heavily linked to Man Utd, if they only sign Modric and Kagawa I think that is all they need and will make them much stronger. Creativity down the centre and a replacement for Scholes in Modric who can dictate play. Would be the ideal signing for them imo.
Don't think Welbeck is that brilliant myself. I'm sure they could find room for Lewandowski.
Not brilliant yet but from what I've seen has a lot of potential and looks a good player in the making. He is only 21 as well so has plenty of time for improvement
Nasri out?

How bad is this article? Reporter clearly hasn't seen him play

Apparantly, Wenger admitted during commentary today that Arsenal had a bid accepted for Özil a couple of years ago. Özil had the choice between us and Real Madrid, and you know the rest.
Ah that's nice. You know we nearly signed ronaldo too!
who gives a fuck if we almost signed someone. he didnt sign with us b/c we "almost" win things.
It only proves nobody wants us. So we are forced to accept b-class players.

Is that surprising? Most top players would choose Madrid/Barca/United/City/Chelsea over us any day.
It just highlights what we know regarding how improtant it is to give prospective players a reason to believe they can win at your club. We clearly don't provide that now, so why would anyone want to sign for us if they're top class?
Don't think it really highlights that. Just confirms that Madrid, famed for signing Galaticos, is a club that has pulling power that few other clubs have.
More a reflection on the fame of Madrid than our reputation.
Well, in England we are behind City,United and Chelsea.
But the point made implied that Ozil going to Madrid was a choice based on him not wanting to sign for us because we don't win titles. I don't see it that way. When Madrid, the club who signed Zidane, Figo etc come looking most player's egos would tell them to accept the offer.

United have agreed deals for 2 young starlets apparently. Angelo Henriquez and Nick Powell.
They'l probably be irrelevant this season though.
