Speculating that Chelsea would spend more when they have just won the CL and the FA Cup than they would have had they won nothing makes no sense.

Maybe they will field Hulk as their striker. Porto is amazing to me. They have earned around 850m pounds since Mourinho's era.

i never said spend more, i said make title challenging signings, theres a difference. Would hazard had joined chelsea if they werent the "champions leagues winners".

Who knows. You can still sign pretty decent players if you throw enough money at them. Look at Man City.

He would've joined them for the simple reason that they've got money to burn. If they don't succeed they'll just throw even more money on players to improve the team. They had an opening in the starting eleven and offered him insane wages.

Supposedly Chelsea got £100m from winning the CL. If that is the case, they're buying well within the rules of FFP.

Chelsea is a club running on massive losses year after year. Winning the CL means nothing in that context.

Winning a CL could have triggered some big bonus payments from their sponsors. Either way I bet when they release their financial figures for this year we'll see a big increase from previous years.

100m is what I heard as well but I'm not sure if it was this or next season when the winner will receive that.
