silva isn't better than kompany. wasn't too impressed with silva in the CL, kompany always impresses me.
either way it would be the best pairing by far.

Silva is a class above Kompany despite what any isolated performance in Champions League might suggest.

i think silva is fantastic. calm, composed, reads the game brilliantly, great on the ball and athletic. my favorite cb.

I think time will tell whether or not we should be jealous of that. He's decent enough, but there are still plenty of better players out there for us.
I'd love to get Santi Cazorla. He's had a great season in Spain. Apparently Malaga still owe Villarreal a fair bit of money for his transfer last summer. If they still haven't paid up at the end of next month (June, that is) Cazorla will be free to go wherever he wants. Rumour has it that Valencia have been in talks with his agent over a possible move if Malaga don't pony up the cash. I'm sure he'd be interested if we got involved.
