Balanced and easily a better squad than ours. Missing out of Lamela will be seen as a total error this time next year, willian not so keen on but lamela will go on to be a star player.

It won't happen, but I'd love for us to nip in and steal Lamela or Willian from under Villas Boas and Levy's' noses. Just to put them in their place

That's an entire south American midfield bar Dembele, why are these players even attracted to playing for spuds, without CL football. Wouldn't lamela or Willian have work permit issues?

I still think we're more than capable of finishing above that team. They're losing one of the best in the world in Bale, a guy who would literally take the ball, dribble past multiple players before putting the ball in the net from 30 yards out; he won games on his own for them and you can't sufficiently replace that, not with the players they're buying anyway.

And that's not even considering the glaring lack of creativity, they'll be relying a lot on Lamela and Dembele to conjure things up for them.

Lamela would get a special talent permit and Willian shouldn't have any issues.

Mate get serious if they have Lamela, Willian, Dembele, thats more than enough creativity. Also their squad will hold up better over the course. They relied on Bale last time but now they appear to be building a properly balanced squad that is more than capable of going past our thread bare squad.

Skew it however you like. The lamest thing i can hear is moaning about how long it will take to gel, fuck sakes they have improved their team of course they will take time but it will still be a far better team then the one we have scrounged past with 1 point in consecutive seasons. At the same time wenger thinks this squad is as good as his crew in the early 2000s, clueless loon can't see the wood for the trees.

they have kept most of their starters, so they can ease newbies in. we play them soon

Rumours flying around that this has been done in an attempt to scupper Madrid's move for Bale. Would a step too far even for Mourinho, surely? Then again he is a vile little man.
