It would be utterly beyond priceless if we signed Bale, although only if he had at least a couple of seasons where he threatened for PotY. In that case the £50m plus wages would have been wonderfully well spent.
But if not, I'd settle for a couple of summers of us making cheeky bids on him and watching Spuds squirm. 😃
